Buy in bulk. Only if enough of you join.
Bulk compost, kit orders, wholesale loo roll — stronger together
What it is
Group purchase, in a sentence or three
One order, shared. You set a price per share and how many people you need. Cards are authorised and held. Money is taken only if the target is met.
Group purchase
Bulk compost, kit orders, wholesale loo roll — stronger together
How it works
Three steps. No MBA required.
- 1
Set the share price and the target
How many buyers you need, the price each, and the deadline. Say what each person actually receives.
- 2
Neighbours pledge
A pledge authorises the card and holds the money. It is not captured yet. The page shows how many have joined.
- 3
The target is met, or not
Payments are captured and you deliver the shares. If the deadline passes short, the holds are cancelled and nobody is charged.

FAQs
Questions your lot will ask
When is my card charged?
Only if the target is met. Until then the payment is authorised and held.
What if not enough people join?
When the deadline passes short, the holds are cancelled and nobody is charged.
Can people see how close it is?
Yes. The listing shows how many have pledged against the target.
Is this the same as Fundraise?
No. A group purchase buys something and holds the money until the target. A fundraise takes each contribution straight away.
Tired of the 200-message bulk order?
Open a stall and run the next one as a group purchase.
